A black leopard or possibly a puma, has been spotted 35 times in the past 3 months near the popular Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. Hundreds of witnesses have reported seeing the big cats near Bluewater, but so far, no conclusive proof has been found. But Neil Arnold from Kent Big Cat Research is appealing for more witnesses to come forward, as he believes the animals do exist, and would like to see them recognised [...]
A CAT the size of an Alsatian was spotted by a dog walker enjoying an evening stroll. Andrew Hollings was amazed when he saw the massive creature slink out of woodland near Station Road, Welham Green, on Wednesday. The dad-of-one, of Holloways Lane, said: “It was the size of a Labrador or Alsatian with a long tail.” The 57-year-old said he had been walking his family’s Yorkshire terrier pup at around 8pm when the cat [...]
The Atlantis crew have said their farewells to the International Space Station (ISS) crew, and started their journey home. The 11-day mission was a success, seeing the six-member crew fitting a new truss and solar array, in effect doubling the stations energy-generating capacity. Atlantis is scheduled to touch down at 5:59 a.m. EDT Wednesday at the Shuttle Landing Facility at Kennedy Space Center, Fla. Landing will bring to an end STS-115’s successful mission to the [...]
Unlike the alleged Pyramids discovered in Bosnia, the discovery of the ancient pyramidal structures found in Ukraine are actually being called Pyramids as they resemble the Aztec and Mayan ziggurats in South America. The structures predate the pyramids of Egypt by about 300 years, and appear to have been built to worship a sun god. With this discovery and the unusual formations found in Bosnia, you have to wonder where the inspiration for the Pyramids [...]
Space shuttle Atlantis has docked with the International Space Station (ISS). Atlantis made a slow docking at 10.48 GMT (06:48 EDT), and the crew recived a warm welcome from everybody onboard the ISS after first performing a back-flip to let the ISS crew check the underside for damage. NASA said that some debris from the fuel tank did hit the orbiter during its launch, but no damage was detected. A 11-day mission now awaits the [...]
A Python too fat to escape capture has been found and photographed in Kuala Lumpur. The Python had allegedly swallowed a pregnant ewe whole and was to big to move. Snaky tails are nothing new, and this story reminds me of the Unbelievable but true…!!! 13 foot Python bursts open after eating a 6 foot alligator reported last November here on Cryptoworld. Source, The Courier Mail.
Seventy years ago today (September 7th 1936) the last known (captive) Tasmanian Tiger known as “Benjamin” died. Alleged sighting have been reported every since, several this year in fact, but even after numerous searches and at least one $1,000,000 dollar (Australian) reward, no solid evidence has ever been presented to back up the sightings.
Two photographs taking pictures of the sky over the sea near Tynemouth North Pier, England have captured what was first thought to be proof of the existence of the Manta Stealth Aircraft. But it is now thought to be just a X-47A/B Pegasus. The Manta Stealth Aircraft, if it does exist, is thought to be a tactical reconnaissance stealth aircraft with the ability to hover silently. It is also alleged to have an outer coating [...]
