OK, I’ve finally got around to sorting through some old video footage of our Deathworm expedition to Mongolian in 2005! Yep, only taken me 6 years!

The attached video shows a huge Dust Devil making its way towards are campsite, with disastrous results!

An invasion of unidentified worms has forced 50 herdsmen and their families from their grassland homes, taking 20,000 head of livestock with them, in northwest China’s Xinjiang region, state news agency Xinhua said on Friday. Aquarium staff have unearthed a ‘giant sea’ worm that was attacking coral reef and prize fish. After much anticipation, the Centre for Fortean Zoology have finally released a documentary recount of the 2005 expedition to Mongolia where the CFZ and yours truly trekked around the Gobi Desert for four weeks interviewing witnesses, and searching for evidence of the fabled Mongolian Deathworm! So what’s been happening this week? Well I don’t know about you, but I seem to have miss-placed most of it – its zipped by so fast that I didn’t even realise it was Saturday until a few hours ago.
