This is brilliant – a little old, but perfectly relevant seeing how it’s the 40th anniversary of the moon landing.

Buzz Aldrin is confronted by a moon landing skeptic! The man angrily calls Aldrin a “coward” and a “liar.” Aldrin tells the man to get away from him, and when he refuses, Aldrin promptly punches him in the face.

The conspiracy theorist tried to sue Aldrin but the judge threw out the case, saying he had it coming!

In the late 80s I started investigating UFOs and crop circles and joined the CCCS (Centre for Crop Circle Studies) and a local group researching strange sightings and reports along the south coast of Dorset (UK). In the early ’90s I started my own research group called SPS (Strange Phenomena Studies), this was renamed in 2004 to Cryptoworld.

Sweet! He did have it coming to him and I’m glad he got it. Sadly the conspiracy people only use it to support their ridiculous agenda.

You can’t blame Buzz for that one. This Man Made History and has been where the theorist can only go in his dreams. Buzz is a great American and that guy was just trying to get him worked up in hopes of getting a lawsuit…And cheers to the judge for throwing that loser out of court…Take that junk somewhere else you theorist Idiot or better yet… Keep your theories to yourself like the rest of us do you fool.

That’s the best news I’ve heard in a while. Anyway there are always some half wits with misdirected skepticism out there, guided by ignorance coupled with a distrust for academia. For those interested you can check out the Discovery Channel’s Mythbuster series for the episode on the Moon landings. Every conspiracy theory can be scientifically refuted and while the program can not cover all it certainly does cover the arguments that could have some credence.
