Defense Department says the mysterious vapor trail off the coast of Southern California trail was caused by an airplane, not a missile!
Pentagon spokesman Dave Lapan said: ‘There is no evidence to suggest that this is anything else other than a condensation trail from an aircraft.’
The videos shows what looks like the contrail of a missile that was shot by KCBS cameraman Gil Leyvas from a news helicopter over Los Angeles on Monday the 8th November 2010.
