Johor ‘Bigfoot’ caught?
Conflicting stories always cause confusion, wasting valuable time and money. So when two newspapers report different stories about the possible capture of the Johor Bigfoot, you have to wonder, which one is right?
I was surprised to read this over at Weather Wars – "Beijing will use artificial rainmaking to clear the air after a choking dust storm coated China's capital and beyond with yellow grit, prompting a health warning to keep children indoors."
Madness, I'm not entirely sure how or with what they planned to make artificial rain, as the original article (China Using Artificial Rain to Clear Dust) doesn’'t go into any detail. But it's assumed (presumed) something would be pumped into the sky, probably via a contrail (condensation trail) just after the storm, causing rain clouds to form, thus washing the dust away!
A little scary, especially when I observed contrails forming over South London last week, which slowly turned into clouds, then, as with most clouds here in the UK – it started to rain.
