The space shuttle Discovery uncoupled itself from the International Space Station (ISS) yesterday, and started its journey home. Discovery is due to land around 9.15am EDT on Monday, with the deorbit burn (re-entry) set for around 8am EDT. Nasa said weather forecasters predict a chance of showers at the landing site at the Kennedy Space Center, but shouldn’t hinder the landing. Most of you by now would have heard about this years CFZ expedition to Gambia, in search of Dragons! A Christian archaeology expedition claims it has discovered rock formations that resembles the fabled Ark 13,000 feet up on Mount Suleiman, in Iran’s Elburz mountain range. The Bible Archaeology Search and Exploration Institute (BASE for short) have discovered prominent boat-shaped rocks that look uncannily like wood. The team have taken samples of the rock, which they believe show wood cell structures. They have also uncovered evidence of an ancient shrine near he rock formation.

The hacker Gary McKinnon, who claimed he only hacked US military networks to try and find evidence of UFO’s and Alien technology has lost his legal battle to be tried here in the UK. On 4 July Home Secretary John Reid granted the US request to extradite Mr McKinnon for trial. If found guilty, Mckinnon could face up to 70 years in a US jail. Biodiversity expert Vincent Chow has put forward the theory that if the Johor Bigfoot does exists, then it is probably a remnant of Homo-Erectus. It’s believed Malaysia, Indonesia and China once formed a single land mass. A weird fireball, first thought to be a firework whizzed over a family and their home in Spring Croft, Kimberworth Park, Rotherham (UK) at around 10.15pm on Sunday (2nd July 2006).
