O’Hare UFO video surfaces – is it real?

In November 2006 a small UFO flap kicked up a huge media frenzy – the sighting happened at O’Hare Airport and all manor of photos, stories, truths and obvious untruths came to light.

Now two years later, a video has surfaced of what is claimed to be the actual UFO from O’Hare. Why it has taken so long for this video to be released is explained by the person who shot it below.

Sorry The Video Is No Longer Available

I have sat on this evidence for over 2 years, mainly because of the nature of my background, if you knew who I was then you would understand.

I only got one minute’s worth of footage because my cell phone’s memory was full, and it stopped recording.

Back on November 7th 2006, I was near Chicago O’hare International airport when I was witness to what was arguably one of the most important UFO incidents in modern times. After the incident, many people jumped on the UFO bandwagon and came forward with false evidence, I can’t speak for these individuals, I can only speak for myself.

I witnessed a gigantic UFO hovering over the Airport at precisely 4:32 p.m. The UFO was a dark, hazy metallic disc/cigar shaped craft. It was at a height of roughly 750 feet from the ground, completely silent, frozen still, and was well over 100 meters in length. I managed to film the UFO on my cell phone for 1 minute, I observed the UFO for a further 1 minute, after which time it took off, and went upwards at tremendous speed and was gone.

If you watch the clip properly, at the start of the clip you can clearly see a large passenger jet taking off, and flying directly under the UFO, which shows just how huge this thing was. The UFO was completely frozen still, and any movement on the video clip is camera movement and camera shake. I filmed the UFO on my cell phone with the zoom set to full.

This is arguably one of the most important pieces of UFO photographic evidence in existence, and to ever be posted on the internet, simply because I know it was a genuine Unidentified Flying Object, and it was witnessed by many credible individuals, including pilots.

Yes I would love to come forward and go public with my story, but this is just not an option for me, due to my job. So that is why I have posted the clip on You Tube. For those who don’t want to believe the truth, thats up to you, but what you are seeing is genuine footage of an unknown craft, and shame on the worlds media for all the ridicule they threw at this unbelievable incident.

Interesting, yet it just raises lots more questions! What’s your thoughts? Who is this person, and why the secrecy?

In the late 80s I started investigating UFOs and crop circles and joined the CCCS (Centre for Crop Circle Studies) and a local group researching strange sightings and reports along the south coast of Dorset (UK). In the early ’90s I started my own research group called SPS (Strange Phenomena Studies), this was renamed in 2004 to Cryptoworld.

  1. O’Hare UFO video surfaces – is it real? | Cryptoworld…

In November 2006 a small UFO flap kicked up a huge media frenzy – the sighting happened at O’Hare Airport and all manor of photos, stories, truths….

  2. Sorry, this one just seems ‘not believable’ to me. First of all, the person who published it intimates that he cannot take a chance on having his identity disclosed as he is a ‘VIP’ of some sort. However, based on his writing, he doesn’t seem to have the education level that most people who ARE ‘VIPs” have. I know I’m really jumping to conclusions here, but when I put that together with the quality of his pictures, I just get a ‘gut’ feeling. Why is it that with the number of people who have good video cameras and digital cameras these days, nobody who witnesses one of these events NEVER seem to have any good equipment with them? I know I carry my camera in my tote and have it nearly every place I go. A lot of my friends do the same…we all have blogs, and take pictures to use in those blogs almost daily. I’m just saying….it doesn’t make sense that NOBODY these days can get a good, legible shot of these UFOs.

  3. Whoops. I meant to say….’nobody who witnesses one of these events EVER seems to have….’

  4. I don’t know about you, but I can certainly relate to the desire to remain anonymous about some things. Particularly an event such as this.

I’m a fiercely private person. I wholeheartedly dislike the media. I also have a problem with those skeptics who have a tendency to impeach someone entirely, rather than their testimony, on instances like this.

So, basically, If this person wishes to remain anonymous, more power to him.

  5. I forgot to say… Here’s the evidence! dissect it any which way you see fit. If it proves to be accurate, great! If it doesn’t, and it’s determined to be a hoax, great as well! You will all know, and in turn, the hoaxter will know as well.

  6. Well first off I’m with Carolina,I mean if your going to supply footage get better equipment and learn to put words together better. With that outta the way I do believe they are more than just planets in our solar system.I have seen stuff on clear nights that left me dumbfounded for weeks on end and the scary part is NASA knows more than anyone else. The video may indeed be real,I can not judge thats for others not me.But I think the world needs to be aware of the situtaion and prepare just in case I mean you never know, and I would at least sleep better at night if the truth was just surfaced to the rim of the cup.So my theroy is UFO has dated back to the begining of time, from drawings on rocks to what we call a crop circle.

  7. Let’s not even talk about the atrocious grammar and syntax of this person’s post. Let’s discuss, instead, the complete lack of any sort of frame of reference. The author said that at the beginning of the clip, you can clearly see a large passenger jet taking off. I never saw this supposed frame of reference. Did I miss something?

  8. Never mind. I just saw the jet taking off. This is woefully sad. It’s obviously a fake. Perhaps the author should contact Mystery Science 2000 to see if special effects gurus are needed for any upcoming films.
