Huge Swordfish caught off UK coast

[singlepic=95,220,,,right]A hue swordfish, normally found 3,000 mile away in the Mediterranean, has been caught in the North Sea off the coast of Britain.

Peter Dent, a trawler fisherman, was socked when the fish turned up in his nets. According to the UK newspaper the Mirror “I’ve certainly never caught anything like this before. I was just doing my normal drift-netting when I noticed this huge fish,” said Dent.

I didn’t know what it was and at first thought it must have been a shark. When I brought it in, I realised what it was. I was absolutely amazed.” Peter added: “These waters are changing and you can get a few surprises these days.”

The swordfish was caught off the coast near Newbiggin-by-the-sea, Northumberland, and has now been sold to the Black Pearl pub in Newbiggin where it is suspected to supply customers with swordfish steaks for the next few weeks.

In the early ’90s I started my own research group called SPS (Strange Phenomena Studies), this was renamed in 2004 to Cryptoworld.
