Bigfoot Cave found in Arizona?

Isaac Bailey, a commercial photographer from Phoenix, Arizona found the cave just below the lip of an 8000-foot plateau, close to the area where a retired police officer and his wife claimed to have seen a Sasquatch in July 2005, and Rangers investigating the sighting on the following day, did find and cast 20" footprints, which is believed to be from a Sasquatch.

It is close to the area where a retired police officer and his wife claimed to have seen a Sasquatch in July 2005, and Rangers investigating the sighting on the following day, did find and cast 20″ footprints, which is believed to be from a Sasquatch.

The cave is about 40 feet deep, 10 feet wide and ranging from 7 feet high at the entrance, tapering to 4 feet at the rear. The floors of other caves in the area are covered with jagged rocks, but in this cave the big rocks appear to have been purposely moved to the sides and earth has been brought in to form a flatten surface, making it easier to crawl in to the back of the cave.

The grass bedding found at the back of the cave is also interesting. It covers an area approximately the size of 3 large beds and is roughly 1 foot deep from wall to wall. The team has taken samples of the grass and plan to have it examined for hairs by an accomplished paleontologist.

The cave overlooks a canyon, and forms a natural observation point, but the BFRG hope to set up some kind of monitoring to see if they can find out just what has been using the cave.

What do you think – Sasquatch den? Or something else?

In the late 80s I started investigating UFOs and crop circles and joined the CCCS (Centre for Crop Circle Studies) and a local group researching strange sightings and reports along the south coast of Dorset (UK). In the early ’90s I started my own research group called SPS (Strange Phenomena Studies), this was renamed in 2004 to Cryptoworld.
