Strange lights seen over Merseyside, UK
More and more people are seeing strange lights (orange balls of fire) all over Britain, they have even been seen in parts of Europe. But what are they? My first thoughts are that they are just Chinese Lanterns, as they have become very popular over the last few years, and make a great (silent) alternative to fireworks. But the strange, sometimes erratic sometimes synchronised pattern of the lights would seem to suggest there is something else going on.
Darting silently in formation, the mysterious glowing orbs light up the night sky. Some say these orange lights even weave in between each other with the precision of a synchronised flying team from some far corner of the universe. Clusters of more than 100 have been spotted across Britain and even Holland, leaving onlookers with an eerie sense that, for all the mystifying beauty of the strange objects, they may have just witnessed an armada of invading UFOs. So what are they? The MOD (Ministry of Defence) have been checking their logs to see if the lights were part of military exercise, which as you can image has excited UFO enthusiasts, especially if the MOD comes back and say “nope, nothing to do with us”.

20+ UFOs spotted over Lincoln, UK
This close-encounter snap was taken by engineer Paul Slight on his mobile phone at about 10.30pm on 31 May 2009, as he was coming home from a day out cycling with friends in Lincoln when they spotted the lights in the sky.
The objects were hovering in the night sky over the town moving in different directions before eventually shooting straight up into the atmosphere. In a series of stunning images taken over five minutes, Paul, from Lincoln, captured the objects together and even flying in an apparent formation.
Looks like this could be just those lovely Chinese Lanterns, but “shooting straight up” part would seem to suggest otherwise. What’s your thoughts?

Strange Lights in the Sky
A commercial airline pilot from one plane and passengers from another have reported that they saw two bright yellow flat disc shapes, estimated to be twice the size of a Boeing 737, in the sky near Guernsey.
John Spencer, deputy chairman of the British UFO Research Association, said: “These types of sightings have been reported by pilots – generally accepted to be reliable and sensible observers – since the 1940s and they have excited attention to this day.
“Such light effects are often popularly thought to represent alien visitors but many UFO researchers believe they more likely represent natural, atmospheric, phenomena not yet fully understood by science.

Islington UFOs
Residents in Islngton and Archway (London) spotted dozens of mysterious lights in the sky on Thursday evening, which appears to have caused a bit of panic.
A story in the Islington Gazette reports 10 to 15 lights were seen moving in a southerly direction before stopping, hovering for about ten minuets and then moving up into the sky and out of sight.
Local Police contacted the Oxford-based Contact International UFO Research group who said they had had other witness call them reporting the same thing.
Was this a formation of planes, UFOs or just a elaborate prank made out of illuminated balloons?

Colin Headworth and his wife watched with amazement, as five red glowing lights moved erratically in the night sky over Brixham harbour.
They first spotted three lights around 1.45am on August the 13th. They had a soft amber glow, similar to the colour of a flare, but the wind was in the wrong direction, so they thought it must have been helicopters or aircraft.

UFOs convoy planes in Moscow
Yesterday several people who were flying from Russian town Volgograd to Moscow witnessed quite unusual situation.
The first who noticed IT was Eugenia Kazarinova. She was the first who accidentally photographed invisible UFO that was following the plane. Eugenia Kazarinova saw nothing but a beautiful landscape outside the illuminator, but when she took several photos she noticed strange lights on them. She was worried and showed the photos to other passengers. They began to take photos using their cameras and mobile phones. The strange lights were present on almost all the photos.

Crowds of people gathered in Balham and Tooting (South London) last week to watch two sets of orange lights fly in formation across the night sky.

[SinglePic not found]A weird fireball, first thought to be a firework whizzed over a family and their home in Spring Croft, Kimberworth Park, Rotherham (UK) at around 10.15pm on Sunday (2nd July 2006).
The incident happened during a huge thunderstorm, and at first the family thought it was a firework, but the light continued to fly through the air in a north-easterly direction. They watched the light, expecting an explosion, but nothing happened, then suddenly it changed direction and flew quickly to the east, towards Swinton, where it appeared to plummet to the earth.
The family became alarmed and thought it was going to crash, but there was nothing, no explosion not even a muffled bang.
The object was an orange light with an aura to it, and thought to be flying around 1,000ft up, but they couldn’t really tell what size it was.
What was it? Did you see anything strange that night?
