The giant Gamburtsev Mountain Range discovered in the 1950s below the Antarctic ice, is now believed to have been formed over a billion year ago!
Scientists say they can now explain the existence of what are perhaps Earth’s most extraordinary mountains – the Gamburtsevs are the size of the European Alps and yet they are totally buried beneath the Antarctic ice.
Another Vampire story and totally weird, a 22 year old women attached a 69 year old guy who feel asleep in his motorised wheelchair!
Apparently the two were sheltering from the rain when Milton Ellis fell asleep, only to be woken when Josephine Smith had pounced on him claiming she was a vampire and wanted to eat him!
So the Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger) has finally been cleared of killing sheep – but the news comes 75 years too late! New studies suggests the Tasmanian Tiger’s jaw was not strong enough to kill sheep and the bounty on their heads was unjust!
This month also marks the sad death of the last captive Tasmanian Tiger, know as Benjamin.
