Homo Floresiensis

Loren Coleman over at Cryptomundo has written up an impressive account of the days events, including local television comments, an email delude, international TV interviews, website overloads, speculation, gossip and t-shirts to name but a few.

And all for what? A new species of beast? Or just an unfortunate looking stray dog?

The “frenzy” seems to have continued today, and there is still talk all over the internet as to the heck it was - DNA tests are being done, but it’s suspected that even when the results are know - the creature will remain the Maine Mutant.

So even when the evidence is brought to the table - the stories continue to circulate and eventually a legend is born.

Man, and to think I was going to post a story about the beast yesterday, but decided it was nothing more than than a mistaken identity or even a hoax at best! Sometimes you just don’t know…
